I would go with two incredibly talented individuals who also knew how to have fun off track. Party animals that had the skill to make it into Formula 1: former World Champion James Hunt and Italian contender Vitantonio Liuzzi, those two together would make a great combination. Charismatic, ambitious and crazy racing would entertain the spectators whilst their personalities would attract new fans outside of the sport.

Definitely, Gordon Murray, the man is a true genius. Ecclestone spotted his potential early on and I’d love to work with him. Besides, it’s time to bring some serious moustaches back to Formula 1! I’m sure Mr Mansell would agree.

I would certainly pick Federico Gastaldi, someone I consider a brother and friend. He is a gentleman and one of the nicest, most genuine individuals in the paddock. On a practical level, with his experience, there’s nothing he can’t manage and he would make it enjoyable and meaningful to be part of the team.

Lord Hesketh. His mission was simply to have as much fun as possible, drinking champagne regardless of the results. Pure fun the way it should be. “Sex – The Breakfast of Champions” would be the team’s motto he’d choose.

Lotus 98T with John Player Special livery would be my favourite. Today’s cars are much easier to drive, I preferred it when it was a sport of gladiators and the cars were almost impossible to handle with no power steering, no traction and so forth.

Having in mind all the picks above, this is an easy one for me – my top three sponsors would have to be the combination of Durex, Playboy and Dom Perignon.
