Laurent Rossi was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Alpine brand in January 2021. He reports to Luca De Meo, Chief Executive Officer of Groupe Renault.

In a surprise move, Groupe Renault announced the departure of Abiteboul from its fold, with Rossi taking over the Alpine CEO role, which was supposed to fall in the hands of the Frenchman.
Motorsports is in our DNA and now is the time for Alpine colours to race and compete in the pinnacle of motorsport racing in Formula 1. Alpine naturally finds its place in the high standards, prestige and performance of Formula 1 and we’re eagerly anticipating the debut of the A521 piloted by our drivers, two-time Formula 1 World Drivers’ Champion Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon.
In 2009, after obtaining an MBA from Harvard Business School, he was recruited by the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked in the New York office as an automotive expert. In 2012, he joined Google, where he was in charge of developing business relations with key accounts in the automotive industry.
