McLaren Unveils Ultra-Exclusive MCL38 Celebration Edition Artura and 750S Supercars, Honouring Ninth F1 Constructors’ Championship Win

MCL38 Celebration Edition Artura and 750S mark McLaren winning its ninth Formula 1 Constructors’ World Championship: just nine Artura and nine 750S MCL38 Celebration Edition cars globally. The bespoke exterior livery echoes McLaren Formula 1 colours of signature Papaya Orange and Anthracite, with branding of Champions’ Laurel and Nine-Star logos. Both models feature Visual Carbon Fibre Sill Covers, which were personally signed by drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. MCL38’s dedication plaque on each car incorporates a piece of carbon fibre bodywork from the 2024 MCL38 Formula 1 car.

Eighteen fortunate McLaren customers will be able to own a unique piece of Formula 1 history as the brand celebrates its triumphant 2024 World Constructors’ Championship victory with an extremely limited production run of MCL38 Celebration Edition supercars. Only nine Celebration Edition Arturas and nine 750S models will be produced, with the number of each symbolizing McLaren’s ninth Constructors’ Championship title.

A Triumph Worth Celebrating

McLaren secured the 2024 Formula 1 World Constructors’ Championship at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, leading the standings since the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in September. Piloted by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, the MCL38 secured eight pole positions and six Grand Prix victories, marking the team’s first championship win since 1998.

Exclusive Design Paying Homage to Racing Glory

The MCL38 Celebration Edition supercars pay tribute to McLaren’s victorious Formula 1 challenger, featuring a bespoke livery meticulously crafted by McLaren Special Operations (MSO). The signature Papaya Orange and Anthracite colour scheme, synonymous with McLaren’s motorsport legacy, further enhances the brand’s iconic chevron colour transition. Additional standout elements include a Champions’ Laurel emblem and a striking ‘Nine-Star’ logo, proudly acknowledging McLaren’s nine Constructors’ Championship titles. A distinctive bonnet stripe featuring Champions’ Laurel and orange-accented brake callipers further reinforces the celebratory theme.

Michael Leiters, CEO, McLaren Automotive, on the MCL38 Celebration Edition:

The relentless pursuit of excellence is intrinsic to the McLaren mindset, and in 2024, we demonstrated this with incredible success both on the track and on the road. Zak Brown, Andrea Stella, Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, and the McLaren Racing team’s achievements in winning the Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship are beyond inspirational. What better way to mark this historic moment than with an ultra-exclusive Celebration Edition of our award-winning Artura and 750S? Each of the nine Artura and nine 750S MCL38 Celebration Edition supercars will proudly tribute McLaren’s most recent championship victory while delivering the unparalleled driving experience our supercars are known for.

Interior Excellence: A Personal Connection to the Champions

The exclusivity of the MCL38 Celebration Edition extends into the cockpit, where every detail has been meticulously crafted to reflect McLaren’s championship pedigree. A key highlight is the Visual Carbon Fibre Extended Sill Cover on the driver’s side, personally signed by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. The seats proudly feature the Champions’ Laurel, while each car comes with a truly unique keepsake—a dedication plaque containing a genuine section of carbon fibre bodywork from the title-winning MCL38 Formula 1 car.

Additionally, a bespoke track record plaque in the bonnet storage area commemorates the MCL38’s dominant season by listing the pole positions, race wins, and fastest laps achieved during the championship-winning campaign.
