BBS Japan, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of forged performance wheels, has announced a new multi-year Technical Partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP, marking a significant return to Formula 1 at the highest level of competition.
From the 2026 Formula One season, BBS Japan will serve as the exclusive supplier of forged magnesium racing wheels for Scuderia Ferrari HP, delivering cutting-edge wheel technology designed to meet the extreme performance demands of modern Grand Prix racing.

The renewed collaboration builds on a historic technical relationship that began in 1992, when BBS first developed forged magnesium racing wheels for Ferrari — a milestone moment in Formula 1 engineering. During that original partnership, Ferrari enjoyed one of the most successful eras in the sport’s history, securing eight Constructors’ Championships and six Drivers’ Championships, including five consecutive Drivers’ titles won by Michael Schumacher between 2000 and 2004.
As part of the partnership, BBS Japan will collaborate closely with Scuderia Ferrari HP on the development and production of forged magnesium racing wheels, bringing advanced wheel design expertise, state-of-the-art forging technologies and rigorous quality-control processes to support performance and reliability under the 2026 technical regulations.
