Phil has extensive writing experience in motorsport, specialising in Formula 1, being the former editor of Podium Magazine & Pit Lane Reporter. Phil has also had three books published, albeit in a completely different field, comedy: his first book "Beat About the Bush – The Funny Side of Language" was an Amazon No. 1. Phil was also the co-founder and writer of The Daily Skid, a comedy news website, which at its peak had over 1 million readers. He has also written regularly for entertainment website Blazing Minds. Having been away from motorsport since 2014, he returns in 2018 with the Paddock magazine.
