He started his Heineken career in 1998 in the Netherlands as a commercial management trainee, and between 1999 and 2005, he worked in various marketing and commerce roles at Vrumona and Global Commerce. From 2005 until 2009, Dolf was Commercial Director at Bralima, our Operating Company in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). In 2009 he became the Managing Director of Heineken USA. He served in this role for six years and was appointed Managing Director of Heineken Mexico (Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma). In the fall of 2018, Dolf moved to Singapore to head the Asia Pacific Division of Heineken.

As of 1 June 2020, Dolf van den Brink has taken over the baton from Jean-François van Boxmeer as the new CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Heineken N.V. Following an impressive 22-year career at Heineken working on all continents, Dolf van den Brink will build on Jean-François van Boxmeer’s legacy.

Dolf attended the Advanced Management Program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and has a MA in Philosophy and MSc in Business Administration, both from the University of Groningen in The Netherlands.

He serves as a Board Member of China Resources Beer Holdings and at United Breweries Ltd, India.

Heineken and Formula One Management have agreed for Heineken to become a Global Partner of Formula 1 in 2016. This significant partnership started at the newly renamed Formula 1 Gran Premio Heineken D’Italia 2016 in Monza and ran for a multi-year term.

Heineken is the headline sponsor of the F1, set to take place on 18 November 2023 in Las Vegas.

Dolf van den Brink commented on a deal:

Dolf is married to Sylvia and has two daughters.
