Sauber Motorsport has officially inaugurated its state-of-the-art Technology Centre at Bicester Motion, United Kingdom—marking a major milestone in the team’s evolution into the future Audi Formula 1 factory outfit.
Strategically situated within the heart of the UK’s renowned Motorsport Valley, Bicester Motion spans 444 acres (179 hectares) and serves as a thriving hub for cutting-edge automotive, aviation, and motorsport innovation. The new facility will play a central role in accelerating the Audi F1 Project’s preparations ahead of its entry into the FIA Formula One World Championship in 2026.
Enhancing Capabilities in Motorsport Valley
The primary objective of the Bicester Technology Centre is to strengthen Sauber’s technical infrastructure, enhance R&D capabilities, and establish a seamless connection with the team’s headquarters in Hinwil, Switzerland. By embedding itself in one of the most talent-rich motorsport regions in the world, Sauber aims to attract elite engineering talent and foster strategic partnerships with key supply chain innovators and industry leaders.
