Having spent over a decade in the airline business, Hogan has the enviable accolade of transforming Bahrain’s Gulf Air from a loss-maker to profitability in three short years, despite a number of critical factors affecting the market’s economy. Etihad has enjoyed participation in Formula 1 since the early part of 2007 when they partnered with Spyker and Aldar Properties to launch the Spyker F1 team, before it was superseded by Force India. Etihad has title sponsorships of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and a prominent partnership with Ferrari and in, September 2011, signed up for another 4 years of sponsorship.
