Fast Track is the main features section of The Paddock, containing interviews, investigations, profiles and reports about the issues that matter most to the motorsport industry.
Big name interviews are central to Fast Track, bringing to The Paddock’s readers the views and experiences of the key players in the major motorsport series. The section also contains analytical articles, focussing on major developments and current trends in motorsport business, and in-depth investigations into the behind-the-scenes movements that affect the sport. In every issue, Back Track will look at important
Features touch all areas of interest to motorsport business insiders, including teams, venues, sponsorship, commercial rights, driver management, the media, marketing, hospitality and technology. In previous issues, articles have included how Formula One is climbing its debt mountain, an analysis of the impact of Fernando Alonso’s victories on the Spanish market, how Flavio Briatore has made a success of GP2 and a study of some of GM’s brand building promotions outside motorsport.
Each issue will also contain a comprehensive special report, bringing together a sequence of features based around a central theme of importance to motorsport business. In our first issue, this was Formula One sponsorship and articles included the results of The Paddock’s first Sponsor Satisfaction Survey, an analysis of the nationalities of team sponsors, interviews with Williams’ and Renault’s sponsorship heads and an exploration of the commercial benefits of F1’s hospitality programmes.
